About the services
Lupa’s Dog Class provides Basic Obedience, Agility, Tricks and more. Additionally I have been working in the veterinary field for over 20 years. I seen veterinarians, owners and pets struggle with checking the ears, toe nail trims or even getting on the scale. We also offer desensitization to veterinarian exams like the otoscope, stethoscope and getting on the scale. This helps their next veterinarian visit go smoothly for both you and them!
Private Lessons
One-on-one training sessions. With scheduling flexibility our trainer comes to you at a time that works for you. Where we will teach you how to train your pet to perform to basic obedience cues, resolve problem behaviors, or a combination of both. These sessions are 30 to 45 minutes. The first 10 to 15 minutes we review the previous lesson, if you or your pet need more work on the cue from the previous lesson then we will continue to work on that, if not we add a new cue. We work directly with you and your pet at your pace. Essentially teaching you how to have a great relationship with your companion(s), and strengthen the bonds between you. Typically, we will meet on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule.
Day Lessons
Are similar to Private Lessons, however we work directly with your dog instead of an owner-dog team. We come pick up your pet or you can drop off your dog to work with our trainer. The lessons are 30 to 45 minutes with the trainer. We will spend 10 to 15 minutes before and after going over the lesson. The time before the lesson is used to go over the previous lesson, and the time after is used to go over the new items. Day Lessons are typically two to five times a week.
Dog Walking
is just that. We come to your house and walk your dog. We also are willing to pick them up for a hike at a park. The length of the walk depends on weather and the dog, but typically it is 30 to 45 minutes.
Day Play
Day Play happens on Wednesdays. This is where the dog comes over, and plays with other dogs. You drop off your dog, or we can come pick up your dog (at an extra cost) and they spend one to one and a half hours playing with other dogs.
Desensitization Lessons
These lessons involve exposing dogs to various stimuli or situations that trigger fear or anxiety in a controlled and gradual manner. The goal is to reduce the dog's emotional response and help them become more comfortable and less reactive. We offer desensitization to nail trims, otoscope, stethoscope and more. It requires patience, expertise, and a customized approach for each dog to achieve positive results.
Cat Sitting
Cat Sitting is for people who have a feline friend. We know cats do not like change, and boarding can be a jarring change in their environment. So, we will sit for you. In which we come to your house twice a day, and take care of your cat.
